Biodegradability and Non-Toxicity
Our elastomers are completely biodegradable. Our manufacturing processes are consciously developed to cause no harm to the environment. Specifically, the production of products like Roithane HSL-X-13 avoids the use of unsaturated components, and the final product contains no unsaturation and requires no free radical or UV initiation. Critically, our products are virtually free of the most environmentally damaging substances:
PVC-Free
Our elastomers and emulsions are virtually free from PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). This addresses the problem posed by traditional heat sealable lacquers that can contain up to 88% PVC content and release toxic chlorine-based chemicals throughout their lifecycle.
VOC Compliant
Products like Roithane HSL-X-13 and Roithane CL-B-23 are VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) compliant , eliminating the need for strong solvents that typically dilute PVC co-polymers by 60% to 70%.
Phthalate-Free
Our products are virtually free of Pthalate plasticizers.

- Testing and Migration: Both Roithane HSL-X-13 and Roithane CL-B-23 have been tested for food safety and meet the required standards of the Food and Beverage industry. Roithane HSL-X-13 has an Overall migration level that complies with the permissible migration limit of 10mg/square decimeter and has been declared safe by the Food and Drug administration. Furthermore, we confirm there is no migration of chemicals from our product.
